Interim Service for Volkswagen

Volkswagen owners are encouraged to book an interim VW service every six months or 6,000 miles. It's ideal for drivers who use their car to make short, regular journeys. The service includes 32 essential checks and replacements, such as an oil and filter change, brake inspection, tyre tread and pressure check. Fluids like screen wash, coolant and brake fluid will also be checked and topped up. Checks will also be made to your car's exhaust and battery.

Interim services are designed to catch any minor issues before they develop into more costly repairs. Following the service, we will also update your VW service history.

Full Service for Volkswagen

A full VW service is a comprehensive inspection recommended every 12 months for any vehicle driving more than 8,000 miles annually.

A full service includes 46 comprehensive checks. The air filter, spark plugs (for petrol engines), and pollen filters will also be replaced. Our mechanics will also carry out a detailed inspection of the suspension, steering, brakes, battery, tyres, engine oil and lights."

Major Service for Volkswagen

The major VW service is the most in-depth servicing option and is recommended every two years.

A major service includes all the checks performed in Full and Interim servicing, along with a brake fluid change, key filter replacements, and Techron performance restorer service. A mechanic will also offer OE Equivalent Parts for any components that your VW may need to have repaired or replaced (additional charges may apply)."

Volkswagen MOT Test

An MOT makes sure your Volkswagen is roadworthy, ensuring it meets government standards for safety and exhaust emissions. Our technicians will conduct a thorough inspection of your vehicle's safety systems, exhaust emissions, brakes, and tyres, along with the lighting and steering.

VW drivers are recommended to book an MOT three years after the vehicle is first registered and once annually thereafter (if the VW is over three years old). "

How do I check if my Volkswagen is under warranty?

Volkswagen drivers can use their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to look up whether a car is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty. You can also contact your dealer to ask if the coverage is still active.

If the vehicle is still under warranty, you are advised to examine the terms and conditions for using approved garages for servicing and MOT. Contact your local ATS centre to find out more.

Will using ATS void my manufacturer's warranty?

Thanks to the Competition Act and Motor Vehicle Block Exemptions Regulations (MVBER), franchised garages like ATS are able to offer repair and maintenance services without automatically voiding a car manufacturer's warranty.

As part of Block Extension, ATS may also utilise OE Equivalent Spare parts for replacements.
