Interim Service for Land Rover
Land Rover owners are advised to book an interim service every six months or 6,000 miles to maintain a complete Land Rover service history.
This includes 32 checks and services, focusing on key components like brakes, exhaust and tyre treads. Interim services are essential for ensuring your Land Rover runs smoothly and efficiently, especially if you frequently use it for shorter trips."
Full Service for Land Rover
A Land Rover full service includes a thorough inspection, including 46 checks. It features a detailed examination of brakes, steering, tyres, battery, engine oil and lights. Your fluids, like screen wash, brake fluid and coolant, will be refilled, and the filters replaced.
A full service is recommended every 12 months for vehicles that drive over 8,000 miles annually. Once it is finished, ATS will also update your Land Rover online service history."
Major Service for Land Rover
A major service is our most comprehensive Land Rover servicing option. It includes all the checks and services carried out in both Interim and Full services, as well as a brake fluid change and Techron Performance Restorer service. A major service will also see the mechanic offer OE Equivalent Spare parts should any components need to be replaced (additional charges may apply).
It's recommended that your Land Rover undergo a major service every 24 months.
Land Rover MOT Test
An MOT will test whether your Land Rover is roadworthy and meets government standards for safety and exhaust emissions. Our technicians will conduct a thorough inspection of your vehicle's safety systems, exhaust emissions, brakes, and tyres, along with lighting and steering. You can’t legally drive on UK roads without a valid MOT.
Book your Land Rover MOT three years after your vehicle is first registered and once annually thereafter (if the Land Rover is over three years old). You can use our MOT Service Reminder to ensure you don’t forget. Depending on its weight, your Land Rover will need either a Class 4 or Class 7 MOT.
How do I check if my Land Rover is under warranty?
Land Rover drivers can use their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to look up whether a car is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty. You can also contact your dealer to ask if the coverage is still active.
If the vehicle is still under warranty, you are advised to examine the terms and conditions for using approved garages for servicing and MOT. Contact your local ATS centre to find out more.
Will using ATS void my manufacturer's warranty?
Thanks to the Competition Act and Motor Vehicle Block Exemptions Regulations (MVBER), franchised garages like ATS are able to offer repair and maintenance services without automatically voiding a car manufacturer's warranty.
As part of Block Extension, ATS may also utilise OE Equivalent Spare parts for replacements.
